Birthday Party And Other Stuff!

I'M BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I didn't blog for a while. I just... didn't feel like it. I have 3 posts planned for August after this, because for two weeks I'll be busy... hey, I've got more ideas! But I probably won't post 'em. Anyway....

My birthday! On May 31st, my grandparents took me out to dinner, as well as two stores! One I spent way more time in. And I got all this!

The first store I went to was Walmart, and I got one thing: a Pokemon Torchic plush! The second store I went to was Gamestop, and one of the things I got there was a Pokemon Pancham plush!

And I have two new amiibos! Charizard and Jigglypuff!

And lastly, I got a bunch of 3DS styluses!

And that's it for that. In June, I had a huge birthday party! I've been planning for it for a long time! A lot of friends came, and we all had fun! We ate a dinner of sausage sauce spaghetti, we played Picture Telephone, and we played a Smash tournament! That was epic.

But the big thing I'm showing you is what I got for gifts!

First, I'll show you that I got a $30 American Express gift card as well as a $20 Nintendo eShop gift card and 25 other dollars in bills! What did I spend this money on? I'll tell you in my next post, My Room Showcase #2! And you can count on that existing! Just... in August. Aaaanyway, I also got some Ice Cubes gum and squirt guns!

And lastly, some nice earbuds and... Tomodachi Life! This game I've been addicted to for about a month now. It didn't last, but it was fun while it did! This is a game where you can bring Miis together to live in a big building of apartments, and you have everyone you want living together, like Zelda, Luke Skywalker, Donald Trump and other people!

12 Days of Christmas! Day 2: Shopping and the Last Smash News and Jiu Jitsu Class!

Last night, mom warned me that there would be consequences if I didn't get out of bed at 8:30. So I woke up at 7:45 and got out of bed at 8:30. I had my blanket on for a while until I brought it back up. I read my Bible chapter, which was the first chapter of James, and a good one. Then, I started writing down a verse when I realized... Today was the day the Star Wars Phantom Menace VHS auction was ending! Aaaah! Mom quickly logged me into the computer and I bid at the very last minute... Only to be outbid. Well, The Force Awakens is coming out in 3 days, and more people are buying Star Wars movies to catch up! Oh well. I started math, which was lesson 38, where we were freeing unknown numbers from fractions, if you know what I mean. I started at 10:15 and tried to get it done by 11:15, but I got distracted by mom talking to me about grocery shopping and Christmas shopping. And doing the laundry. So mom gave me an extra 15 minutes, but I didn't finish. After that, I finished my Pearl Harbor report rough draft. We had 2 hours and 45 minutes before we left to go shopping. So I continued with Language Arts for 1 hour. This chapter of The Hiding Place was the most interesting of them all. After that, did more math. After that, I did a little bit of a history test. I spent more time looking for it than doing it. After that, science. Not much to say about that. Oh wait, I couldn't finish it. I was 1: distracted and 2: we were leaving sooner than later.

We went to Dollar General. Before we got there, I read Star Wars: Queen of the Empire chapters 5-6 for my last school subject. And the plot thickens on those chapters! I got a couple Christmas gifts for someone (wait 'til Christmas to find out!) After that, we went to a car wash. I haven't been there in ages. It was entertaining to watch. After that, the grocery store. And we stayed there for a long time. Turns out we were not shopping anymore 'til after Christmas, so this one was big. We needed two carts to take the bags out! After that, we went to Target to get a gift for someone who was listed on an Angel Tree. After that, finally... home at last at around 6 PM. But not for long. I ate dinner, and I watched the final Smash presentation. They revealed more info on Cloud, and they said he would be released today. Great! Take my $6! Also, they revealed a couple other characters. One of them was Corrin, from the Fire Emblem Fates series, which looks pretty fun and different from the other Fire Emblem characters. But after that was the ballot winner... BAYONETTA?????????????? WHY???????? WHY DO YOU CHOOSE SUCH A NASTY CHARACTER???????????????????????????? Well, at least I don't have to buy her.

After that, we went to my last Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class at the YMCA. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it. So I learned some interesting moves, and we rolled for a while. Not literally. It means practicing what we learned with doing matches. The people I practiced with put up a fight! They were challenging. So I came home, and I ate a ton of chips, finished up my Star Wars video, and took a shower and went to bed.

On the second day of Christmas, these things happened to me: I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and I made Christmas card art with glee!

A New Display

(Sorry I didn't post this yesterday. Or the day before. I was busy the last two days.) So recently I got a new thing in my room. A shelf! So I use this as a display thing for my stuff. Like my amiibo are on the front, some of my Pokemon games in the back, my Wii U games, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color on one side, and my Skylanders Fling Kong on the other. Cool, huh? Oh and I've got stuff on the drawers, like my Star Wars tapes. Well, that's what I can think of for posting on my blog today. Hope you liked it.

Birthday Fun!

(sorry, I said I would post this yesterday, but I was too lazy, plus, Nintendo's E3 Digital Event was meh, so I won't be posting that.) I had an awesome birthday! Starting on my real birthday, mom and Sophie came home from the store with an Oreo Ice Cream Roll!

And later that day I went with Grammie and Grandpa for dinner to Wendy's! Also, we went to GameStop, and I got Pokemon Y! Awesome!

On my birthday, I was calling everybody I invited to my party to tell them that it was in a week. My aunt said my cousin couldn't come, so she asked me what I wanted for a gift, and I said Pokemon Black 2 or White 2. Guess what. A few days later, I opened an Amazon package saying "Gift inside!" and Pokemon White 2 was in it! Awesome! 

On my party we all had a lot of fun. First, we played the Splatoon Battle Dojo for a while, and then I opened gifts.

I was given a lot of candy, which I ate up quickly, a Skylanders Fling Kong,

 A Luigi amiibo (which Sophie got me with her own money) and a Sheik amiibo,

a watch,

 and... Pokemon Alpha Sapphire! Guess what? A few days before, Isaiah asked me what Pokemon games I wanted to get next. One of those I said being this. How sneaky!

So afterwards, we ate Oreo Ice Cream Cake with rainbow sherbet ice cream!

 Afterwards, (or maybe beforehand?) We played some 8-player Smash. We did a lot of matches, and that was the first time I got to play 8-player Smash with 8 people. And then we did some improv games! There were some hilarious ones! So the party was really fun.

And then a few days later, we went to see dad, and he gave me... a bike! Awesome!

It was $20 less than he had anticipated, so he gave me 20 extra bucks! I decided to spend that on... A 3DS car charger and a 3DS game case! So I had a fun birthday. I'm also planning a family party for just my family, so I might post about that after that happens. Well, see you tomorrow!

Nintendo's E3 2015 Plans Revealed!

So yesterday Nintendo revealed their E3 plans on a video that had a hilarious ending. Here's the video.

Alright, now for my thoughts on it.
Another Digital Event, huh? That's fine! I'm okay with staying at home and filming a reaction video to post on Youtube! This'll be on June 16th, on 9 am PT.

Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3, huh? I only watch small clips of it, so it's not much to me. This'll be from June 16-18.

Next we have Nintendo Access: Mario Maker @ Best Buy! I don't think I'll be going, considering the long line at last year's Smash Fest. Alright, I don't think as many people are hyped for Mario Maker as they were for Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U. But Smash is 4-player, and Mario Maker is 1. And it's possible that every session will be longer than a match of Smash, so maybe the wait will be as long. This'll be on June 17 and 20.

And I saved the best for last. The Nintendo World Championship is back! After 25 years! That's awesome! I wish I could compete, but we'd have to go all the way to Los Angeles, California to do it. I'll watch it on a live stream, though! You have to qualify somewhere on May 30th, but we don't know where just yet.

Lucas CONFIRMED?!?!?! Nintendo Direct April 1st, 2015

2 days ago, Nintendo released a Nintendo Direct on April Fools. As the description said, "Don't let the date fool you. This Nintendo Direct is no joke!" So there were a few things I was interested in. If you want to see it for yourself, here it is. But here are some highlights.

First up, we got more information on the Smash Bros. DLC character Mewtwo! Turns out it stays true to the original Melee character, but with a Mega Mewtwo Y Final Smash. Would've gone for a Mega Lucario-style Mega Mewtwo X, though. Also, Club Nintendo members who registered both the Wii U and 3DS version by March 31st get Mewtwo on April 15th, while guys who buy the DLC on its own get it on the 23rd. If you wanna buy it on its own, it is $3.99 for a single version of the game, while getting it for both versions is $4.99. Not bad! Can't wait to get it!

Next up, more DLC! Although it is a bit smaller. Here's some Mii outfits for animals, Mega Man characters, Dunban from Xenoblade Chronicles, and Zelda characters! Now I can make my Lonk Mii fighter! As you can see, a single outfit's $0.75 for one version of Smash Bros, while it's $1.15 for both versions. and a bundle will be released for $6.00 for one version and $9.20 for both versions.

And here's one more DLC character. Except this time, LUCAS?!?!?!?! WHAAAAAAT?!?!?! They said they wouldn't make any other DLC characters! Guess they changed their mind! He also stays true to the original Brawl character. And they didn't say any more information about him, other than he will be released in June! My Brawl main is back! Sure, Ness got all of Lucas' Special Moves through Custom Characters, but that's not enough! Thank you for bringing him back, Sakurai!

And last for Smash Bros news, you know how you've always wanted Goku or Shrek for Smash? Well, YOU CAN VOTE FOR THEM!!!! They've decided to do a Smash Bros Fighter Ballot, where you can do just that. I'm gonna vote for Blaziken, one of my favorite Starter Pokemon! Oh wait, it's in the background of a stage, so that's automatically out. Actually, I'll vote for Gallade. He's not a Poke Ball or in a stage!

Next, there's Amiibo Tap! This is a free download for Spring. You can tap any Amiibo and it will give you a demo of a random Virtual Console game for NES or SNES. Sounds cool.

Next up, Virtual Console for N64 on Wii U! Great! It's about time! But that's not all! DS VIRTUAL CONSOLE?!?!?!?! IT'S NOT TIME YET!!!! There will be a few games releasing for now, like Yoshi's Island DS and Mario 64. 

And the last news I was interested in was the Mario Kart 8 DLC. First, we have more info on the Animal Crossing pack. All we have here other than the characters, which were announced earlier, is one of the stages. This is an Animal Crossing stage with changing seasons. Looks pretty cute! And the other one is....... 200CC?!?!?!?! I'll probably be in 8-12th place the whole time!

I was disappointed that they didn't announce the new Pokemon game. I was waiting the whole time for it! There was a lot of other stuff, like indie games and more Amiibo, but that didn't interest me too much. Other than that, this Direct was awesome. Can't wait to see more info about most of these stuff!
